The XXXII Andalucía Sunshine Tour heads into the start of its second week of competition after an intense opening stage in which not even the rain managed to halt the scheduled programme. With a positive balance from the first few days, everything is now in place to fire the starting gun on a new week packed with sport and fresh developments.
Action will get underway this Tuesday with the classes reserved for young horses, who will once again take centre stage in the arenas of the Andalusian circuit. Thursday will see the start of the competitions corresponding to the second CSI4*, which will draw much of the sporting focus of the event.
The second week will once again feature most of the winners from the key classes contested during the opening week, joined by a number of notable new arrivals. The sporting standard will again be at its highest, with the presence of major international show jumping names such as Steve Guerdat, Mathieu Billot, Gilles Thomas, Gregory Wathelet and Roger-Yves Bost.
After more than living up to expectations in its opening week, the XXXII Andalucía Sunshine Tour is set to deliver a second week of top-level competition, further consolidating its position as one of the must-attend fixtures on the international equestrian calendar.
The Andalucía Sunshine Tour is sponsored by the Regional Government of Andalusia, through the Ministry of Tourism and Andalusia Abroad, and by the Provincial Council of Cádiz, an institutional backing that strengthens the event’s international profile and its sporting, economic and tourism impact on the region.
