Spanish rider, Imma Roquet Autonell had a brilliant day today, winning the Karlswood Trophy, a 4* Longines Ranking class of 1.50m which was held on grass in the David Broome arena. Her time against the clock was 65.83s which she achieved with the 10yr old mare ‘Irivola del Maset’, who is by ‘Indret del Maset’ x ‘Quidam de Revel’ and owned by Maset Sport Horses S.L. They were just one tenth of a second in front of another very fast rider, Rogier Linssen with ‘Moneypenny’ (‘Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji’), from the Netherlands who was second whilst British Joe Whitaker with ‘Hulahupe JR’ was third. Fourth was Irish Max Wachman with ‘Tipperary’ and fifth was Swedish, Adam Carey with ‘Quebello D’.
French rider Arthur Le Vot continued his great results here today as he won the 1.40 with ‘Divine de B’Neville’, a 12yr old mare by ‘Niagara D’Elle’ x ‘Rosire’, and owned by Jean-Baptiste Thiebot. Their time was 61.72 segundos beating off the Italian rider, Luca Moneta with ‘Carla de Boaz’ in just over 62s. Third was Swedish rider, Alexander Zetterman with ‘Gorklintgards Caspian DWB’; fourth, Spanish Jesús Garmendia Echevarría with ‘Mycox’ and fifth Irish rider, Niamh McEvoy with ‘Miro NS’.
There was an Irish win in the 1.30 from Aine Shortall with ‘Killerisk Can Ya’; second was British rider, Simon Crippen with ‘Zeus Vancouver’ and third was Portuguese, Sandra Gaspar Carreira with ‘Missanga 7’. In fourth was French rider, Hugo Guerin with ‘Leonie de Baudemont’ and fifth was Swiss, Sasha Barthe with ‘Bubble Dee’.
The accumulator 1.20 also went to an Irish combination, Gerard Campbell with ‘Livio’. Followed by Sandra Garpar Carreira once again on the podium but this time with ‘Hifi’; Hungarian, Nora Jazmín Nagy with ‘Calathea 3’; British, Cassandra Cope with ‘Michelob’ and Lebanese rider, Damien Haddad with ‘Iena Wal’.
In the 1.10 of the CSI4* Cassandra Cope took the top spot with ‘Hamlets Fire’, in a time of 61.24s, nine seconds faster than her nearest competitors. These were Juan Miguel Ferrer Riu with ‘Sunshine Magic’ in second, followed by Ely Vizcaíno Lawrence with ‘Enzo’. Fourth was Slovenian, Linda Steckova with ‘Campi ST’ and fifth was Alexey Maschenkow with ‘Ophelia Incipit’.
The in the 7yr old Young Horse class; the Estrella Galicia Trophy, the winner was ‘Ipanema des Lotus’, a mare by ‘Canturo’ x ‘Elan de la Cour’ owned by Stephanie Alexandre and Carole Kiener Calver with the Columbian rider, Farid Alejandro Hernández Herrera. Another Columbian rider was second Rubén Arroyave with ‘Eldorada Blue Z’ and in third was ‘Idole de Hus’, with Luca Moneta. Fourth was ’Idagio D’Ellipse’ with the French rider, Robin Lesqueren and fifth was ‘Iness du Paradis’ with Arthur Le Vot. This was a 1.35 class and was against the clock, held in the Milton arena.
In the 5yr old class the winner was ‘Chevere de Capellán’ with the Spanish rider Santiago Riva Núñez. Second went to ‘Championado Z’ with the Portuguese rider, Bernardo Ladeira Pereira; followed by ‘Coeur D’Amis PC Z’ with Belgian, Clara Le Jeune; ‘Daisy PS’ with Spanish, Armando Trapote and in fifth, was ‘Springsteen P’ with German rider, Stephanie Böhe.

Tomorrow there are five classes in the 4*, including a 1.45 Ranking class sponsored by Karlswood, and the 6yr old Young Horses will also jump. On Sunday the grand finale to the Tour will take place, the 1.55 Andalucía Grand Prix.
